Washington chiropractor announces new non-surgical approach to back pain relief. Dr. Dan D. Baldwin of Puyallup, WA now offers ground-breaking approach to relieve severe back and neck pain. The spinal decompression system treats sufferers by gently reducing the pressure within spinal discs.

In the past a patient suffering from back problems usually was given pain medications and then instructed to refrain from physical activities or referred for physical therapy. If and when they weren’t progressing they were sent for back surgery.

Today back pain sufferers don’t have to live with that pain anymore. The new non-surgical spinal decompression treatment was developed to effectively treat lower back pain and sciatica resulting from herniated or deteriorated discs. This procedure not only significantly reduces back pain in many patients, but also enables the majority of patients to return to more active lifestyles.

Is there an ideal amount of exercise for losing weight? And are you ever too old to shape up? Smart Fitness answers your workout queries.

Q: I exercise on a regular basis, at least five to six days a week, consisting of mostly cardio with weight-lifting on three of those days. However, I have heard that too much cardio can be bad for you. Is this true? If so, how much time should be spent on cardio?

A: “You’d have to do an awful lot to do too much, to hurt your heart,” says Dr. William Roberts, a past-president of the American College of Sports Medicine. “Most people aren’t exercising enough to worry about this.”
